Rest In Peace...Mum

This beautiful lady has been the main reason that I have not been doing much of anything lately. Sadly she passed on into another realm last night after a well fought battle. Courageous and strong till the end.
Love you forever Mum. xxxx

My thought are with you Val at this sad time.
I love this verse by Mary Frye so I am sending it to you.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!

I'm so sorry for your loss, I too recently lost my mum, and found this great poem, which I'm sharing with you

Her Journey's Just Begun

Don't think of her as gone away,
Her journey's just begun.
Life holds so many facets,
This earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting
from the sorrows and the tears,
In a place of warmth and comfort
Where there are no days and years.
Think how she must be wishing
That we could know today,
How nothing but our sadness
Can really pass away.
And think of her as living
In the hearts of those she touched,
For nothing loved is ever lost
And she was loved so much.

My thoughts are with you hun.
Hugs
